Yes, you read that right: Some country stars—including Cassadee Pope and LeAnn Rimes—will be making a country tribute album for Mötley Crüe.

Tuesday (Jan. 28), the metal band announced its final tour, 72 dates that start July 2 in Michigan.

And a surprise twist in that press conference came from Taylor Swift’s label chief, Scott Borchetta, of Big Machine Records, who said he was making a country tribute album that’ll come out with the launch of the tour.

“When you look at the song catalog, the songs are going to be the things that stand the test of time,” Scott said. “I’m going to match up some of my outlaw artists with some of these great songs and we’re going to go pretty wide.”

Those “outlaw” artists include Cassadee, LeAnn, Florida Georgia Line, Brantley Gilbert, Justin Moore and Eli Young Band.

“Everybody that I brought this up to has been so excited,” Borchetta said. “We’re intentionally leaving a few slots open because now that we’ve announced this I know there’s going to be people who want to be on this record.”
