COUNTRY STARS HONOR THE MILITARY

Craig Morgan, Jerry Reed, Aaron Tippin and Mark Wills will mark the 230th birthday of the Unites States Army with four separate TV specials, all taped at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville next Monday, March 21, and Tuesday, March 22. The four themes are "Army Birthday," "Patriotic/4th of July," "Holiday," and "WW II 60th Anniversary." The specials will air on the Armed Forces Network, the Pentagon Channel and other military outlets. Each show will be unique and will be targeted for a specific airing time. FYI-the United States Army was formed on June 14, 1775, more than a year before the Declaration of Independence. Army soldiers have fought more than 10 wars, from the American Revolution through the Cold War, to the Gulf War and the current Global War on Terrorism. This 230th birthday is recognition of the Army's history, traditions and service to our nation.
