COUNTRY STARS HELP RED CROSS

The American Red Cross' fourth annual National Celebrity Cabinet has a few familiar names. Tim McGraw, Rascal Flatts and Randy Travis are returning to serve, and Sara Evans is a new cabinet member. Folks on the board - which include celebrities from TV, sports, film and music - agree to volunteer for one year to promote awareness of the American Red Cross and encourage people to donate time, blood and money. And they practice what they preach. Tim donated proceeds from his August 21st concert in Orlando, Florida, raising more than $285,000 for the Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. "I was thrilled when I was invited to be a part of the Red Cross National Celebrity Cabinet for another year," said Tim. "I have always been very impressed by all the efforts and assistance the Red Cross has been able to provide to communities all over the world, especially in crisis situations. I feel honored to be able to help and give back whatever I can in assisting the Red Cross in their mission to save lives."
