COUNTRY STARS TO APPEAR ON BENEFIT SIMULCAST

Faith Hill and the Dixie Chicks will join a star-studded cast for a televised benefit to raise money for the victims of last week's terrorist attacks.

"America: A Tribute to Heroes" will air live and commercial free on Friday night at 9 p.m. EDT, simulcast on ABC, NBC, CBS, Fox, CMT and any other radio or television network that wishes to join.

Other musicians and actors that have agreed to donate their time to the cause include: Paul Simon, Bruce Springsteen, Neil Young, Stevie Wonder, Sheryl Crow, Will Smith, Tom Petty, Billy Joel, Bon Jovi, Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Robert DeNiro, Clint Eastwood, Julia Roberts, George Clooney, Jim Carrey, and Robin Williams.

The networks have not yet disclosed whether they will be accepting donations directly or pointing viewers to already existing help organizations, but it will be announced during the broadcast.
