Country Singer Wishes Brad Paisley Had Checked Him for Ticks

Little pest gives Jason Michael Carroll a high fever and causes his throat to start closing

His throat started closing up, and Jason Michael Carroll started burning up with fever late Monday night (April 16), Jason tells fans on his Twitter account.

Things did not get better Tuesday, even after he picked up a bunch of prescriptions from his doctor.

When Jason dragged himself into the shower Wednesday, he found the culprit inside his ear: It was a tick.

"That sucked....Literally!" Jason posted.

"I hope I never get like that again. I have been bitten before but this one meant business. Damn bloodsuckers!"

And you knew this was coming. . . .

"Where is Brad Paisley when you [need] him! :)" Jason tweeted.
