Country Singer Wants You to Buy Veteran

Country singer Stephen Cochran is a former Marine who overcame serious injuries in Afghanistan to launch his career making music. And he has a message for country fans for these last Christmas shopping days: Buy Veteran.

Stephen is working with the National Veteran-Owned Business Association to encourage shoppers to go to buyveteran.com to find veteran-owned businesses near you. That website lets you put in your zip code and find all kinds of businesses—pizza places, dentists, construction companies, gift shops—that are owned by vets.

“Buy Veteran is a national movement everyone should join,” Stephen says in a press release.

“We’re highly skilled, reliable and motivated businessmen and women—and we’re your next door neighbors. Shopping with us is good business for both the local and the national economy—and our kids go to school with yours.”
