Country Goes to the Movies

LeAnn Rimes will make her acting debut in the movie comedy Good Intentions, set for release next year. LeAnn, who shot her scenes in Atlanta in early August, plays the sister of a woman who embarks on a life of crime to pay for her children’s college tuition.

Meanwhile, Dixie Chicks lead singer Natalie Maines has been cast as a prison nurse in the upcoming movie Stealing Cars, set to begin shooting in September. Director Michael Skolnik cast Natalie in the film after seeing the 2006 Chicks documentary Shut Up & Sing.
