Country Acts Up For Doves

Martina McBride, Alabama and the Bellamy Brothers have received nominations for the 39th Annual Dove Awards, which will air April 23 from the Grand Ole Opry House in Nashville on the Gospel Music Channel

The Dove Awards honor the best in contemporary Christian and inspirational music. Martina's song "Anyway," which she co–wrote with Brad and Brett Warren, is nominated for Country Recorded Song, while Alabama's Songs of Inspiration II is up for Country Album. The Bellamy Brothers, Howard and David, received their first–ever Dove nominations for Country Album, Jesus Is Coming, and Country Recorded Song, "Drug Problem."
