Countriest of the Country June 6

Joe Diffie, Chris Young, David Frizzell, Highway 101 and more are set to appear on songwriter Billy Yates’ Countriest of the Country show at the Ernest Tubb Texas Troubadour Theater in Nashville, June 6.

The annual event, sponsored by the Billy Yates International Fan Club, is considered one of the best country music shows during CMA Music Festival. This year’s show will include a “hit songwriters in the round” featuring top Music Row writers Byron Hill, Georgia Middleman and Kerry Kurt Phillips. Billy will also be on hand to perform during the show. Billy’s latest European release from his CD Favorites, a duet with George Jones on “Choices,” has held the No. 1 spot on the CHI HotDisc chart for five weeks. HotDisc is the longest-running and most established chart for country music in Europe.
