Could Kellie Pickler Be Broadway Bound?

The stage is calling her name . . .

Could a new facet of Kellie PIckler's career reveal itself in the new year?

After her big win on Dancing With the Stars, Kellie Pickler was discovered to be quite the hoofer, adding another amazing talent to her résumé. But she's up for padding that a little bit more by doing a little acting. And not just TV or movies. Kellie is ready to take on Broadway.

“Since the show I've been wanting to do Broadway so bad just to throw together two of my passions—dance and music,” she tells Country Weekly. “I want them to do like a Tammy Wynette Broadway musical! I know Dolly Parton has her Broadway shows and I think if anybody lived a country song, it’s Tammy.”

That musical hasn’t been written yet, but Kellie has her eyes on another Broadway role should it become available and her former Dancing partner supports it. “Derek [Hough} was like, ‘You need to be Roxie in Chicago,’” she says, laughing. “That would be amazing! I’ve watched that move a million times. I know it by heart.”
