It has been a year of firsts for Colt Ford. In August, the country hip-hop artist received his first No. 1 album, Declaration of Independence, and in September, he hosted his first-ever golf tournament. Dubbed the Colt Ford & Friends Celebrity Golf Classic, the tourney was held at the pristine Château Élan in Braselton, Ga., where a host of country stars teed up to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.

Jake Owen, Darius Rucker, Justin Moore, John Anderson, Bo Bice and former golf pro Colt all took to the links to show off their stroke—and in Colt’s case, his loudly patriotic shorts. The event concluded with an evening of music, as the host welcomed his fellow golfers and artists such as Jamey Johnson to the stage for an all-star concert.
