Cole Swindell Shoots Hoops With Country Weekly

And he's good, too!

Country Weekly wants to thank Cole Swindell, who came by our offices bearing a yummy lunch and the unreleased video for his new single, “Hope You Get Lonely Tonight.”

While we’re under a gag order as far as spilling the beans on the video (except to say it’s really good . . . and a little sexy), we’re free to say, when it comes to shooting hoops, Cole’s got skills!

After watching him eyeball the new NASH basketball court, we scrounged up a ball and Cole spent a few minutes in the Nashville heat decompressing and shooting free throws and three-pointers, and chatting it up with staffers about life on the road with Luke Bryan and the That’s My Kind of Night Tour.

And even though he admitted that he was exhausted from doing 10 shows in 11 days, Cole even impressed himself with a dunk shot. Of course, we had to reveal that the net had been lowered for one of the staffers’ 5-year-old sons to play ball.

But hey—the free throws and three-pointers were on a regulation net. That counts!
