CMT Takes Miranda Lambert On Tour

Miranda Lambert will headline CMT On Tour, with openers Eric Church and country newcomer Josh Kelley (brother of Lady Antebellum's Charles Kelley).

The 28-city tour will kick off on Sept. 29 in New York. Miranda credits her upbringing on the Texas bar scene with preparing her for this tour. “Having that Texas club circuit experience at an early age and also touring with some of the best in the business for several years, I know what it takes to bring it every night and give fans more than their money’s worth,” Miranda said in a press release. “The CMT Tour is a great way for me to thank fans for their support this year and show them I can live up to the honors.”

Past tour headliners have included Rascal Flatts, Keith Urban, Jason Aldean and Sugarland. Last year's tour featured Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser.
