CMT MUSIC AWARDS NOMINEES ANNOUNCED

Kenny Chesney and Carrie Underwood are among the top nominees for the 2007 CMT Music Awards, announced Wednesday, Feb. 28.

The awards honor the year’s top videos. Kenny is up three times for “You Save Me,” while Carrie received three nods for her emotional “Before He Cheats.” The 2007 CMT Music Awards will be held Monday, April 16, in Nashville, and televised on CMT, beginning at 8 p.m. ET. Comic Jeff Foxworthy will host the show. For the Video of the Year, the final four nominees will be announced during the live telecast, with final voting online at cmt.com and via mobile phone.

Breakthrough Video of the Year
