CMT DEBUTS COWBOY REALITY SHOW

Have you always dreamed of being a cowboy? If so, your dreams may come true -- if you sign up for CMT's new reality show, "Cowboy U."

Contestants on the show are taken to Scottsdale Arizona, to the Cowboy College, where they are taught the tricks of the cowboy trade, such as riding, roping and shoeing horses.

The first round of cowboy hopefuls have already been through the training, and instructor Rocco Wachman says they had a tough time staying on their horses at first and that he had to do everything "short of shooting a gun to get their attention," but admits that they worked hard during the cowboy instruction.

The winner of "Cowboy U" will receive the distinction of being the "Best All-Around Cowboy" and a belt buckle. The show is scheduled to air on August 29.
