CMT Awards Nominees Announced


Carrie Underwood, Taylor Swift, Lady Antebellum and Jason Aldean are the top nominees for the 2010 CMT Music Awards, which will be held Wednesday, June 9, at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, and televised on CMT at 8 p.m. ET. The Awards honor the year's best music videos.

Carrie, Taylor, Lady Antebellum and Jason received three nominations each, including nods for the night's top award, Video of the Year. The CMT Music Awards are voted on by fans, and you can make your choices in each category at votecmt.com through June 8.

The final nominees for Video of the Year will be announced at the beginning of the live telecast on CMT, with final voting held online at cmt.com during the show. Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and Toby Keith are among the stars who will perform on the show, which will be hosted by Kid Rock. Awards will be given for Best Male and Female Video of the Year, Duo Video of the Year, USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year and other categories.
