CMAs SCORE BIG ON TV

The CMA Awards is often called “Country Music’s Biggest Night,” and the telecast on ABC, Monday night, Nov. 6, proved a huge evening for the network, coming in at No. 1.

An estimated 32.3 million viewers watched at least some portion of the CMAs, putting it in first place for the night. ABC led the second place networks by 3.4 million viewers. The network also attracted its highest audience rating of the night in 6 months. Brooks & Dunn hosted the 40th annual celebration from Nashville’s Gaylord Entertainment Center and copped three awards, including their 14th as Vocal Duo of the Year.
