CMA Win Fires Up Little Big Town Even More for the Next Album

“Just fiercely ready to get into the studio and writing songs like crazy,” Karen says.

Ah, nothin’ like a CMA win to put some fire under ya for the next album.

Just ask Karen Fairchild of Little Big Town, which picked up a vocal group trophy this week (Nov. 6).

“Such a big honor and you wanna live up to it, and all we ever wanted to do was make music together, and to make music for the fans,” Karen told reporters.

“We’re getting to do that on a bigger platform because of things like this. Yeah, it gets us ready. We can’t hang our hat on it, but it definitely inspires us towards the future. We’re ready to go in that studio, I’ll tell you that.”

How ready?

“Like, just fiercely ready to get into the studio and writing songs like crazy,” she said.

We can’t wait to hear what they do next.
