"Healing in the Heartland" to be held in Oklahoma City on May 29
CMA NOMINATIONS WEDNESDAY
The nominees for the 2006 CMA Awards will be announced on ABC’s Good Morning America and CMT Wed., Aug. 30.
Brad Paisley and Sugarland vocalist Jennifer Nettles will reveal the nominees in select categories on Good Morning America during the 8:30 a.m. ET half-hour segment. Following those announcements, a special edition of CMT’s CMT Insider will go live with new stars Jason Aldean and Little Big Town as they unveil the remaining CMA nominees as well as the new inductees to the Country Music Hall of Fame.

“Hope he is the one Jesus comes back on,” heartbroken country star tweets.
“Country’s Night to Rock” airs on ABC, Aug. 12.
