CMA NOMINATIONS LIVE ON ABC AND CMT

Fans who want the early scoop on this year’s CMA Award nominations can tune into both ABC and CMT Wednesday, Aug. 30.

Brad Paisley and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland will announce select nominees for the 2006 CMA Awards live on ABC’s Good Morning America during the show’s 8:30 a.m. ET half-hour. This marks the first time that the award nominations have been announced live on Good Morning America. Following these announcements, CMT will go live to Nashville with Jason Aldean and Little Big Town, who will reveal the rest of the nominee field. “This is a big year for the awards as they celebrate their 40th anniversary and bring the show back to Nashville from New York,” says Jennifer. The CMA Awards will air live Nov. 6 on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
