CMA Nods Announced August 30

Sara Evans, Taylor Swift and Montgomery Gentry will take part in the announcement of the final nominees for the 2007 CMA Awards, Aug. 30, in Nashville.

The ceremony will be televised live on both ABC’s Good Morning America from New York and a special edition of CMT Insider on CMT from Nashville’s Sommet Center. Sara Evans will appear from New York where final nominees in select categories will be announced during the 8:30 a.m. ET segment of Good Morning America. Following that, CMT will present exclusive coverage of the remainder of the nominee announcements in a special half-hour edition of CMT Insider at 10 a.m. ET, hosted by Katie Cook and Lance Smith. Montgomery Gentry and Taylor Swift will reveal those nominees. “This day is always an exciting one for the industry,” says Montgomery Gentry’s Eddie Montgomery. “Every artist and every record label wants to be nominated for one of these prestigious awards.” The 41st Annual CMA Awards show will air from Nashville on ABC, Nov. 7, at 8 p.m. ET.
