CMA Music Fest Block Party

The 2009 CMA Music Festival kicks off in grand style with a free afternoon of concerts and activities in downtown Nashville, Wednesday, June 10.

It all gets underway at 2 p.m. with "The Fifth Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade," followed by "The Fourth Annual CMA Music Festival Block Party" at 3 p.m. "The Fifth Annual CMA Music Festival Kick-Off Parade" will feature country artists and other celebrities riding in a wide variety of Chevy vehicles including the new Chevy Camaro. Rodney Atkins serves as Grand Marshal for the all-star parade, which will also include Katie Armiger, hot new duo Caitlin & Will, Bomshel, Jeff Cook, Sarah Darling, Lynn Anderson and NASCAR driver Jeff Burton. Following the parade, "The Fourth Annual CMA Music Festival Block Party" will take place on the Sommet Center Plaza Stage. The concert is free and open to the public and will feature performances by Trent Tomlinson, Jason Michael Carroll, LoCash Cowboys, James Otto, Emerson Drive, Eric Church and Rodney Atkins.
