CMA Fest Stadium Kicks Off First Night of Shows

CMA Music Festival kicks off the first night of concerts at Nashville’s LP Field, June 7, at 8 p.m.

Reba McEntire, making her first festival appearance in 11 years, headlines the show, along with Trace Adkins, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn, Dierks Bentley and The Wreckers. Rumors are circulating that pop star Kelly Clarkson will also appear to sing a duet with Reba. Trace tells Dial-Global that performing at the CMA Music Festival is one of the year’s highlights for him. “These are the most dedicated, the most loyal country music fans in the world that we have congregated right here,” he says. “I always look forward to this and savor the experience when I get to go out there.” The nightly concerts run through Sunday night, June 10, and will feature such stars as Carrie Underwood, Gretchen Wilson, Brad Paisley and many more. Tickets are still available for the concerts at the CMA Music Festival Box Office in the Sommet Center in downtown Nashville, through ticketmaster.com or by calling (615) 255-9600.
