CMA Awards Noms to Be Announced Sept. 6

The Band Perry, Jake Owen, Jerrod Niemann, Thompson Square do the honors.

“Country Music’s Biggest Night” is set to have a big morning on Sept. 6, when the 45th annual Country Music Association Awards nominations will be announced from two cities.

The Band Perry and Jake Owen will reveal the final nominees in five categories from the Good Morning America studios in New York at 8:30 a.m. ET. Jake will also perform his current single, “Barefoot Blue Jean Night.”

Also that morning, Jerrod Niemann and Thompson Square will announce the nominees in seven categories during a press conference at Nashville's Ryman Auditorium.

Meanwhile, the JaneDear girls will announce the finalists for the 2011 CMA Broadcast Personality award as well as the Radio Station of the Year award for small, medium, large and major markets, also in Nashville.

The 45th annual Country Music Association Awards will be broadcast Nov. 9 on ABC.
