The tournament was held at the famed Pebble Beach Resorts. “Our first charity golf event was more successful than we could have hoped for,” Clay said. “Not only did we raise over $72,000 for BAMS, but we all got to spend three days in the California sunshine on the greatest golf courses in the world. We are thrilled to announce that our inaugural tournament was a huge success.” The tournament also featured an awards ceremony, a performance by Clay and his band and a live auction, which included autographed items from stars like actor Kevin Costner, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney and others. Clay was diagnosed with MS in 1996 and established Band Against MS in 2003.
