The Civil Wars’ Joy Williams Celebrates Two Grammys, First Pregnancy

“My baby bump & I will see you on the red carpet,” she says via Twitter.

Singer Joy Williams of The Civil Wars has at least three good reasons for her happy state right now—she and fellow Civil Wars member John Paul White netted their first two Grammy Awards on Sunday (Feb. 12). "We're in a state of shock right now," Joy told CBS backstage after the duo took home the golden gramophones for Best Folk Album and Best Country Duo/Group Performance for "Barton Hollow." "This is as excited as I've ever seen John Paul's face. I don't think either of us thought we would walk away with anything, and to walk away with two . . ."

That's not the only reason Joy was glowing—she recently announced that she is pregnant with her first child. It marks the first pregnancy for Joy and husband/manager Nate Yetton. The baby is due in late June. "Beyond elated to share that Nate & I are expecting our first child in late June!!! My baby bump & I will see you on the red carpet," Joy said via Twitter on Friday (Feb. 10) just prior to the Grammy awards.

Watch as The Civil Wars try to take in their Grammy success just after the awards are announced.
