Chris Young Set for Songwriters Series

Newcomer Chris Young has certainly racked up a string of hits, including “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),” “The Man I Want to Be” and his latest, “Voices.”

The singer will lend his warm country voice to the upcoming Country Music Association’s Songwriters Series for a Nashville concert with songwriters Brett James (“Blessed”), Rivers Rutherford (“Real Good Man”) and Craig Wiseman (“Live Like You Were Dying”).

The event will be held at the concert venue Limelight in Nashville on Nov. 9, as part of the festivities leading up to the CMA Awards on Nov. 10.
