Chris Young’s Halloween Flashback

He remembers family trips to East Tennessee.

Chris Young remembers Halloween as a time to get in your favorite costume and head out for trick-or-treating. But Chris’ family also had their own unique way of celebrating the holiday. They would head from their home in Murfreesboro, Tenn., to the East Tennessee resort town of Gatlinburg, a few hours away.

“We made it a point to try and do that every year, right around Halloween,” Chris tells CountryWeekly.com. “It was cool. Everybody who works in the shops and stores was dressed up, everything was decorated. It was kind of a little getaway for the family to run up there. We don’t do it as much anymore because of our schedules, but I always remember that as a fun time.”
