Chris Young Loves His Big Hits

Chris Young is out on the road opening for Rascal Flatts, and he’s got two definite crowd pleasers in his set, his back-to-back chart-toppers, “The Man I Want to Be” and “Gettin’ You Home.”

“Being out on the road having two hits is really cool,” Chris tells Country Weekly, “because you know you’ve got a point I get to in my set where people are gonna clap!

“That’s my insurance policy. If we’re playing a show where it’s just not working, I’m like, ‘Let’s play one of the No. 1s.’”

Really? Does Chris ever move up a hit on his set list in the middle of the show? “It may have happened once or twice. The good news is, it hasn’t happened recently.”
