Chris Young Almost Sees His Tour Bus Burn Up

“Yeah, I don’t want to join the ‘Bus on Fire Club.’ I’m OK not being in that one," he says.

Seems lots of guys have seen their tour buses burn up in the last year or so. That list includes Jerrod Niemann, Justin Moore, Randy Houser and Lee Brice.

But not Chris Young, though he had a close call Friday (June 30) in Charlotte, N.C.

Chris told reporters the next day at Kentucky Speedway that his tour manager ran onto the bus and told everyone to grab what they needed and get off the bus.

“It was about five seconds from being in flames,” Chris said. “There was smoke coming out of the back of it, and it was red. We put it out with a fire extinguisher. Thank God we did."

The country star said he was grateful for the quick thinking.

“Yeah, I don’t want to join the ‘Bus on Fire Club.’ I’m OK not being in that one.”
