Chris Young really loves opening shows for Jason Aldean—even if their first real beer together proved to be “a little awkard.”

Chris tells CountryWeekly.com that Jason had the No. 1 song on the country charts, “Dirt Road Anthem,” when he and Jason were able to finally relax and have a drink together on the road.

Turns out that Chris’ hit song “Tomorrow” was about to bump Jason’s hit from the top spot.

“So when are y’all gonna go No. 1?” Jason asked Chris.

“Uh,” Chris hesitated, “next week.”

Turns out Jason just laughed.
“It doesn’t hurt him one bit,” Chris said. “He’s just fine.”
