CHRIS CAGLE -- I AM THE AMERICAN DREAM

Chris Cagle may be an up-and-coming celebrity, with his debut album certified gold and a #1 hit with "I Breathe In, I Breathe Out," but he doesn't forget where he came from.

Cagle, born and raised in Louisiana, knows what it's like to work hard for a living -- he's had to do it himself.

"One day, I just woke up, and I was like, 'You know, you represent every guy out there swinging a pick axe, or turning a wrench, or slinging hamburgers or bartending. You represent every one of those people.' "

"I've done all those jobs -- from a nanny of three girls, a golf caddy, to a bartender, to a house framer, to a roofer. I represent that American dream."
