CHRIS CAGLE HAS 'A BLAST' GOLFING, SINGING

Earlier this week, Chris Cagle played in the annual Academy Of Country Music Bill Boyd Celebrity Golf Classic in Burbank, California.

Cagle's team was victorious at the event, and he says it was "a blast." All proceeds from the event will go to the T.J. Martell Foundation/Neil Bogart Memorial Laboratory for Cancer, Shriner's Children's Hospital, the Bill Boyd Memorial Trust Fund and the Montgomery Gentry National Future Farmers Association.

However, it was an event preceding the golf tournament that really blew Chris away.

Over the weekend, at a listener appreciation concert, Cagle was invited onto the stage during Willie Nelson's performance to sing a rendition of "I'll Fly Away" with Willie and Pat Green.

"You look over, and there's Willie Nelson!" said Chris. "You look at that face, you think about what he's done -- and well, your knees just shake. Or at least mine did!"
