CHICKS SING ON BENEFIT CD

The Dixie Chicks are joining several other artists on a benefit album to raise money for the T.J. Martell Foundation, which supports cancer and leukemia research.

The CD is titled Between the Covers, a compilation of cover songs featuring Madonna, Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and more. The Dixie Chicks will perform their version of the Fleetwood Mac pop hit “Landslide” on the CD, which will be available in stores Sept. 12. To go along with the album’s release, cable network VH-1 will air a 30-minute special that same day.
