CHICKS MOVIE PLAYS NASHVILLE

The Dixie Chicks’ documentary film, Shut Up & Sing, will have a special one-night-only showing in Nashville, Thursday, Nov. 2.

The film will be shown at the historic Belcourt Theatre and is being presented by the Music Row Democrats. Shut Up & Sing follows the trio—Natalie Maines, Emily Robison and Martie Maguire—from the peak of their popularity to Natalie’s now-infamous comments about President Bush in a 2003 concert. The movie also examines the fallout from Natalie’s anti-Bush statements. It is scheduled to hit theaters nationwide on Nov. 10.
