CHICKS ADD EIGHT TOUR DATES

Although the Dixie Chicks’ Accidents & Accusations Tour is seeing slow sales in some markets, eight new dates have been added in other parts of the country.

The new dates include Aug. 5 in Atlantic City, N.J., along with a series of shows in Canada, Aug. 10–19. At the same time, at least 12 cities have put ticket sales on hold after they initially went on sale June 3. Those cities, which include Houston, Memphis and Jacksonville, may either have to be rescheduled or canceled.

More Chicks news: Chicks fans around the world can see the trio’s first concert appearance in more than two years on dixiechicks.msn.com, Thursday, June 15. The show takes place at the sold-out Shepherds Bush Empire in London—the same venue where Chicks vocalist Natalie Maines made her infamous anti-President Bush comments in March of 2003. The performance will be broadcast at 10 p.m. ET.
