CHESNUTT GETS W AWARD

Mark Chesnutt has lots of fans in the Republican Party - he's been selected as the first recipient to be honored with the "W" Award. The "W" Award is being presented to Mark by the Republican Party of Florida in gratitude and appreciation for his contribution and support in performing at the various Republication parties and rallies. "We recognize that all artists have prior commitments and heavy tour schedules and customarily do not wish to lean one way or the other to become involved in any presidential campaign," said Carole Jean Jordan, Chairman, Republican Party of Florida. "But, Mark clearly demonstrated his support by making himself available to perform at our rallies and he has a lot of Republican fans out there. This is our way of thanking him for his help in getting George W. Bush re-elected."
