Chely Wright To Release New Album, Book

Chely Wright is having a busy start to her new year. She is gearing up for the May 4 release of a new book and a new album.

The new CD, titled Lifted Up Off The Ground, is her first since 2005’s Metropolitan Hotel. The project was produced by one of her heroes, Rodney Crowell. “I’m still stunned by his wisdom, guidance, talent and friendship,” Chely tells The Boot.

Her memoir, titled, “Like Me,” follows Chely’s story from her Kansas childhood through her rise as a country music singer.
