Just eight weeks after its release, Chely Wright's independent single, "The Bumper of My S.U.V.," has held the No. 1 position for the last two weeks on the Billboard Country Singles Sales Chart. In competition with acts in all genres, "Bumper" is holding it's own at No. 7 on the Hot 100 Singles Sales Chart. According to Chely's site, they've even sold out of singles for online orders and are encouraging fans to check their local stores. "Bumper" is featured on Chely's new album, The Metropolitan Hotel, set for a Feb. 22 release.
