In a new autobiography, Like Me, in stores today (May 4), country singer Chely Wright admits what some on Music Row have speculated for years: she's gay. The revelation has made national and international headlines for the 39-year-old Kansan, who is best known for her No. 1 single "Single White Female."

In an exclusive story that will be published tomorrow (May 5) on countryweekly.com, Chely talks candidly with about why she came out now, how she thinks it will affect her career and her annual Reading, Writing #38; Rhythm benefit and how recording her new album inspired her book.
