CHELY SUPPORTS INJURED SOLDIERS

Chely Wright's current single, "Bumper of My SUV," is a heartfelt thank-you to the military of this country for the sacrifices they continue to make for our freedom. The sister of a US Marine, Chely's made several overseas trips to perform for the troops. But on Dec. 11, she'll perform for a very special audience a little closer to home as she entertains 150 seriously wounded veterans of service in Iraq and Afghanistan and their families at a Walt Disney World conference sponsored by the Coalition to Salute America's Heroes. "Our troops put their lives on the line daily," she explains. "They deserve our help and gratitude and I am proud to ... honor and offer assistance to these American Heroes." Way to go, Chely.
