Charlie Daniels Opry Induction, Jan.19

Charlie Daniels will be inducted as the newest member of the Grand Ole Opry Saturday night, Jan. 19, at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.

Opry members Marty Stuart and Connie Smith will be on hand to help welcome Charlie to the Opry family, while Mel Tillis and bluegrass great Del McCoury are also scheduled to appear. Charlie was presented with the invitation to become a member by Martina McBride during Charlie's Christmas for Kids benefit show in November.
