CHARLEY PRIDE IN HOSPITAL

Grand Ole Opry and Hall of Fame member Charley Pride was admitted to a Dallas area hospital last Thursday night for emergency surgery, according to Charley's spokesperson, John Daines. Because of the surgery, Charley had to cancel some upcoming shows for the next couple of months. While the nature of his illness hasn't been announced yet, Charley's reps say he's been told to expect a recovery period of four to six weeks. Get well soon, Charley!
