Catch The CMT Music Awards

The 2008 CMT Music Awards, honoring the year’s top music videos, airs Monday night, April 14, live from the Curb Event Center in Nashville, at 8 p.m. ET on CMT and cmt.com.

Billy Ray Cyrus and daughter Miley Cyrus host the awards telecast. “Miley and I are so excited to be hosting the CMT Music Awards,” says Billy Ray. “We know it will be a fun-filled night with a lot of great music performances.” Billy Ray and Miley will sing a duet on the show. Also scheduled to perform are Carrie Underwood, Brad Paisley, Taylor Swift and many others. The CMT Music Awards are voted on strictly by fans. The finalists in the Video of the Year will be revealed on the telecast, and fans will vote for their favorite during the show at cmt.com. Sugarland and Brad Paisley lead the nominee field with four apiece. Following the 2008 CMT Music Awards, CMT will air the debut episode of its new talent competition series, Can You Duet, at 10:30 p.m. ET.
