Cassadee Pope’s Debut Album Tops the Country Chart

Congrats to Cassadee Pope, who not only won The Voice but also captured the top spot on Billboard’s country albums chart this week.

Her debut, Frame by Frame, sold 43,000 copies, which also was good enough for No. 9 on the all-genre Billboard 200 chart.

That also makes Cassadee the best-selling Voice contestant ever. OK, only one other winner has released an album after being on the show. That’s Javier Colon, whose album sold only 10,000 copies in its first week.

Winners Danielle Bradbery and Jermaine Paul have yet to release albums, but 17-year-old Danielle’s self-titled country debut is coming out Nov. 19.
