Carrie Underwood album Some Hearts has been certified for sales of seven million copies, becoming the best–selling solo female country debut in RIAA history.
In addition, Some Hearts is now the all–time U.S. top–selling album by any American Idol contestant. Released Nov. 15, 2005, the album hit No. 1 on the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and produced No. 1 singles like "Jesus, Take the Wheel" and "Before He Cheats."
