Carrie Writing For New Album

Carrie Underwood says that her next album will likely include a few songs that she has co-written.

“I’ve done some writing for the album,” Carrie tells Nashville’s daily newspaper The Tennessean. “I think I should have three to five co-writes on the album, which is exciting for me.” The first single from Carrie’s much-anticipated second album could possibly be released in late summer, although no firm date has been set. The album, as yet untitled, is scheduled to be released in the fall. Carrie is certain about one thing––the style of the album. “It’s definitely staying in the country genre,” she says. “That’s where my heart is.”
