Carrie Wows Randy Travis at His 25th Opry Anniversary Bash

She sings “I Told You So” for Randy before joining him for a duet of “Is It Still Over.”

Carrie Underwood continued to pay musical homage to one of her heroes, Randy Travis, by appearing Tuesday (Oct. 4) at an onstage bash marking Randy's 25th anniversary as an Opry member.

After a number by Randy and John Anderson, Carrie came out to loud applause and sang Randy’s mega-hit “ITold You So” to him. Of course, Carrie had a pretty big hit with that song her own dang self.

Then, Carrie and Randy sang another one of his hits together, “Is It Still Over.” That song appears as a Randy-Carrie duet on Randy's latest album, Anniversary Celebration.

After Carrie, Josh Turner came out to sing with Randy on "T.I.M.E". The finale: Randy, Connie Smith, Gene Watson and Joe Stampley singing “Didn’t We Shine.”

"It’s amazing to me to be celebrating my 25th anniversary in the music business on this stage because of the way I grew up and what I grew up listening to," Randy told the crowd.
