Carrie Underwood Shows Up at Jeff Foxworthy-Led Fundraiser

She's Carrie Fisher—her hockey player hubby’s plus one.

Only in Nashville might Carrie Underwood just pop up at a fundraising function.

Comedian Jeff Foxworthy hosted an event for Rocketown, a Christian-themed "safe" hangout for teens that includes a music venue, skate park and coffee shop.

Carrie was there as the plus one for her husband, Mike Fisher, a player for the NHL Nashville Predators. And—this gets confusing, so follow closely—the Predators' head coach is best buds with a manager for Christian music star Michael W. Smith, who is a big supporter of Rocketown. Whew!

All of that to say, Carrie and her hubby were wearing matching plaid shirts and jeans for the Redneck Rally for Rocketown—hosted of course by Jeff Foxworthy.

Carrie kept a low profile, quietly autographing event programs for the few folks who asked. That didn’t stop auctioneers from trying to entice her to buy items for the charity.

When a 1957 T-Bird made it onto the block, the auctioneer gestured toward Carrie and said, "Wouldn’t that look good in a country music video?"
