Carrie Underwood to Release New Single

"Good Girl" out Feb. 23.

The wait is over for Carrie Underwood fans. Carrie will release her new single, “Good Girl,” to country radio on Feb. 23 and a much-anticipated new album will be out later this spring.

Carrie wrote the track with Ashley Gorley, who co-wrote Carrie's hits “Don’t Forget to Remember Me” and “All-American Girl,” and Chris DeStefano.

Once again Carrie teamed up with Mark Bright, who produced her two previous albums as well as seven tracks from her debut album, Some Hearts.

Carrie's most recent album, Play On, was released in 2009.

As previously reported, Carrie will team with Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler on a special edition of CMT Crossroads on Feb. 4, the night before the Super Bowl.
